Storytime: Going Dutch

Hiii lovelies, today's post will be talking about 'gong dutch' on a date..

This is mainly related to what Loose Women was chatting about on their show on Wednesday (shoutout to them, as if they'll see this) it seems to be a 'generation thing' or 'what should be done' where the man/boy of the date pays the whole bill. I'm completely against this, i mean i have a job so why do i need someone to pay for me?! My brothers been with his girlfriend for 5 years now & when i asked who pays for the dates as they go for a lot of meals etc, he says that they take it in turn which i think is another great idea.

ANYWAY, getting back to my story. I was on a first date with a lad i really fancied and after the meal he got his wallet out saying he was to pay. I stopped him and said no, we were going to half it's what i've always done and i didn't feel right it only being first date and making him pay.. Like if i didn't like him and knew it was the last time i'd see him i'd make him pay lol.

So, i got my purse out and i only had card and he had cash so when the waitress came over i said i would pay on my card and just give me the cash. Well he THREW his cash at me, excuse me?! I felt so embarrassed as the waitress was stood there and she even looked at me like 'what has he just done'. I really liked this guy and had a great date and he's gone and done that? I was so appalled ngl.

It's fair to say i never saw him again aha, i don't see why he was so angry with me when it's just what i like to do i thought it was good of me to say go halves too??

Have any of you ever been in this sitauation, i'd love to hear about them.

Storytime: PDA experience

Hiii lovelies, it's another story time post about my dating life since they seem to be in high demand aha

This post is all about 'PDA' and my feelings towards it. I actually HATE it, i mean we've all been there knecking on whilst on the pull on a night out i actually cringe about those days now. But on a date? It feels even worse whilst you're in public space and all they wanna do is constantly kiss you, like i just ain't comfortable with that yeno.

So, on night outs with whoever i was 'seeing' i'd be kissing them without a care in the world of who was watching. Like, were in a club surely everyones doing it, but as i've gotten older i'm just like ew what was i doing? Actually makes me sick no one wants to see that.

Then whilst i was dating someone, we'd be out having drinks or at a meal and be holding hands which i don't care about it's the norm but when they start snogging me and people are staring it just makes me wanna hide under the table.. literally. I don't even know why i care so much about this, and about people looking (please tell me i'm not the only one). But we was once in a club and we were there properly early, so we were sat in middle and all bar staff could see us and all he wanted to do was snog me it just made me want to die!!

Don't get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with kissing but full on snogging in middle of a club is just a no go. What makes it worse is when you have clubs on snapchat and they go HUNTING for club kneckers ahah makes me feel so awkward, thankfully i've never been caught.. that i know of anyway.

This is a different to my other 'dating stories' but hope you liked it all the same.

Storytime: Why Lads Are Idiots

Now, we all wonder at some point why lads are such idiots.. right? I mean, i think this about everyone i've met (well 90%)

Throughout uni i've fancied many lads, wow i sound like i'm in yr6 again but yeno what i mean. At the time, they've always seemed like proper decent lads, but then again we've mostly been drunk when we've met but still i thought they were super nice and 'genuine' lads. OH how i was wrong.. let me tell you about some of them.

Goofy Ass i love making names up for lads lol, this one's inspired by my mate who pointed out that he has a weird face so shout out to you. But the point is, in first year we would go out pretty much every night as you must do for first year it's the law. A few of my friends told me that he fancied me back so obviously i was grafting, and on nights out he seemed to as well.. although mostly for the fact i was the one paying for all our drinks #mug. ANYWAY i heard that he liked another girl but she didn't like him, but he was still grafting her and left me looking stupid af so that's all i'm gonna say about that tbh and i've thankfully not seen him since first year.

Player Assbite this one is from second year he is pretty much the same realisation of the first. Except, that one of my closest (or so i thought) set us up so really i just shouldn't my mates no more aha. Again, we would always go out together and when i heard he fancied me we got talking and we got on really well.. until i get drunk. Surely whenever anyone gets drunk they go overly passionate about their feelings, at least i do anyway and literally scared him away. HOWVER he would still ask about me and want me to go out with them again, but when i would he would just be trying to pull other girls.. so not attractive. So i just gave up and was like nah cant be dealing with head fucks, my mate was on my side by this point making me stop myself going near him when i was drunk.

Axwound surprise, surprise this is the same reasons as the other two and is from third year. It's quite recent so i mean i have been doing better, but basically this one had a girlfriend.. don't judge me too soon he told me they wasn't serious and that he can pull other girls. So yeah on the night out we was just chilling together, and his girlfriend was there too that's always normal init but not only that I saw him out the other night as well and he was getting with another random girl so all I can say is good luck to her.

Hope you enjoyed another little look into my great relationships with lads, i should also stop trying to get with lads beginning with A as well i think.

I Am Embarrasing

Hiiii Lovely's, how are you all?
For this post I thought I would share some embarrassing stories with you, I mean there's quite a few so i'm not gonna do all of them aha just something to make you laugh (maybe)

Asking for wrong maths test: okay, so basically it was my GCSE's and first of all I couldn't even find my desk like you get seated in your sets and alphabetical order well mine wasn't with my set? So i was like waahh i'm lost but then someone helped me and it was right at the front (!!!!). There was no test paper on it, so I asked for one.. little did i know i asked for a year6 test paper lol banter. So they couldn't find it and was like "you asked for wrong one, it's this one" this took up like 10-15 minutes of my test time AND everyone else in my year could see. Kill me.

Knocking on wrong toilet door: this probably sounds bare weird but basically, my mate was in toilets and some old woman came in and was like "the only free toilet has no toilet paper" so i thought i'd do a good deed and get some off my mate for her. I ended up knocking on wrong toilet but was proper banging, and shouting stuff and some woman came out and was like "when the doors red it means someones in there" i was like jeez obviously got wrong door soz.

Walking into wrong toilet: this kinda leads on from the last, cause this has happened twice (!!!) once i was drunk so yeno that ones excused.. but does anyone else get confused by the gender signs sometimes? I don't mean the signs but the people ones yeno where the lads in pants and the girls in a dress? no, okay, just me. Why does this confuse me so much?? Even one of them had the lad right across the door and I still walked in, i was super natural then realised there was urinals and there was a man there i was like EEEEP WRONG ONE.

Forgetting how to make tea: first of all i work in a pub and it proper annoys me when people ask for hot drinks like get a bevy fgs. But anyway, some couple walked in and was like "can i have a tea please" and i haven't even been taught how to use the coffee machine really but you'd think that tea would be straight forward, right?.. not for me. I went ahead and put the tea bag into the section where you would put the coffee capsule, but no tea was coming out(?!) so i was just like sorry it's not working. Then i later realised if i'd just put the tea bag in a mug and then added the hot water it would work, i drink tea 24 times a day you'd think i'd know by now. Wow just don't ask me for tea aha.

That's all i'm gonna share for today, i hope one of these made you laugh. Have you ever been in any of these circumstances? Please just say yes to make me feel better xo
